This sculpture was created with both aesthetics and utility in mind. A functional work of art, it is actually a working ceramic speaker, made in Japan. It features impeccable sound and bass, and connects via bluetooth or AUX cord.

Ceramic artist Hiroyuki Yamada has been actively exhibiting his works since the early 1990s, gaining significant attention both in Japan and abroad. He adheres to ancient Japanese methods of ceramic production, while adding contemporary touches, including speaker components, modern shapes, and striking choices of glaze.
His work has been exhibited around the world and is found in private and institutional collections in Japan, India, Europe and the United States, including the collections of the MIHO MUSEUM, Shigaraki; Taipei County Yingge Ceramics Museum; The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston USA; World Ceramic Center, Yeoju Korea; Uttarayan Art Foundation Gujarat, India; Clayarch Gimhae Museum, Korea; and the EKWC, Holland.
